The Freedom Collective is a Christ-centered homeschool hybrid program that partners with families to provide structured, in-person learning while preserving the flexibility and values of homeschooling.
No. We are a partnership-based homeschool hybrid—not a traditional private school. Parents remain actively involved and responsible for their child’s education, while we come alongside with instruction, accountability, and community.
Our program is best suited for families who value faith-based education, relational learning, and character formation alongside academics. It’s a great fit for families seeking more support than homeschooling alone, but more flexibility and intentionality than traditional schooling.
We prioritize identity before performance. Students are known, supported, and encouraged to grow spiritually, emotionally, and academically. Faith is not an add-on—it’s woven into daily learning, relationships, and community life.
Parents are the primary educators and decision-makers for their children. We exist to partner with you, support you, and walk alongside your family—not replace your role.
Yes. We joyfully welcome families from diverse backgrounds who align with our Christ-centered mission and desire a community rooted in grace, truth, and mutual respect.
We intentionally keep class sizes smaller to ensure students are known personally and supported academically and emotionally.
Faith is integrated naturally through Biblical teaching, prayer, worship, character development, and daily interactions. We focus on shepherding hearts and helping students grow in their understanding of who they are in Christ.
The best next step is to attend a tour. We believe clarity and alignment matter, and we want families to feel confident, supported, and at peace in their decision.
Not in the traditional sense. We are a homeschool hybrid program operating under a Private Education Association Ministry. Parents remain the primary educators, and we provide structure, teachers, and community support.
Our curriculum aligns with Ohio’s academic standards, but we are not bound by mandates or testing. This freedom allows us to focus on what truly helps students grow.
At this time we are not part of the state system and are eligible to accept state funds. However, our type of program is currently in the grouping of programs that are being considered by the state to be included in the voucher program. If this passes then we will be able to accept the vouchers. We will continue to follow this very closely. We try very hard to keep Tuition affordable compared to other private schools in our area, and we are developing scholarship opportunities for families to help offset the cost. We are able to provide a charitable donation receipt for any tuition paid.
Currently PreK–11, with plans to expand to 12th grade for the 26/27 school year.
We meet Monday–Thursday, 9am–2pm. Core academics in the morning; enrichment (Art, Music, Spanish, Bible) in the afternoon. Fridays are for home learning, field trips, or rest.
Licensed teachers, retired educators, and experienced homeschool moms who see education as ministry.
A mix of trusted Christian curriculum and homeschool resources, selected to reflect our faith, excellence, and joy in learning. 26/27 We will be integrating Dr. Karen Holinga’s Math U See and Spelling U See curriculum into our program.
No. We focus on real learning and growth, not test scores.
Small class sizes so every child is known, supported, and encouraged. We try to keep our classes under 15, with most classes between 7-9 students per class.
We can support some learning differences but are not equipped for intensive IEP needs requiring intervention specialists. For students with extensive IEP needs it would be up to the family to provide the necessary support and services needed for their child.
Affordable tuition compared to private schools. Contact us to see current rates. We offer pay in full discounts, military family discounts, sibling discounts as well as offer monthly payment plan options to help make the program more accessible for all families.
Parents remain primary educators, responsible for homeschool reporting, supporting work on non-program days, and engaging in their child’s education.
